Since the Nonfiction Writers Conference began in 2010, our mission has always been to take the traditional writers’ conference experience and deliver it online. This allows more people to attend from around the world, saving valuable time and travel expenses. It also delivers powerful access to speakers during LIVE learning sessions with interactive Q&A, all delivered entirely online.
Thousands of attendees have joined us over the years and we have celebrated alongside many who have gone on to publish and promote their books with greater success as a result of participating in NFWC.

What to Expect When You Attend the
Nonfiction Writers Conference
Interactive Learning Sessions
The Nonfiction Writers Conference (NFWC) is a multi-day event featuring live presentations by top speakers and industry experts, Q&A with speakers, and plenty of downloadable materials. You can attend the live webcast by computer, mobile device, or phone.
Can’t make the live events? Recordings and transcripts are available depending on the registration level you choose.
Literary Agent Pitches
NFWC attendees can apply to deliver a live pitch to a panel of literary agents on Zoom. Participating agents are actively seeking nonfiction books to represent and typically request proposals from about 30% of participants. Each year, several participants have received offers of representation and book deals.
Whether you’re in the spotlight sharing your pitch and getting agent feedback, or you’re watching from the sidelines, this popular session is loaded with value and opportunities to learn about the publishing industry.
Complimentary Ask-a-Pro Consultations
One-on-one consultations are delivered by publishing industry professionals, including literary agents, book coaches, marketing experts, and more. Consultations last 15-minutes each and delivered by Zoom.
Gold, Platinum, VIP, and Thought Leader attendees can register for FREE for up to 3 consultations with the pros of their choice. Many of our attendees feel these consultations are worth the price of admission alone.
Popular Online Networking Event
All NFWC attendees are invited to participate in a live networking session in which they join small groups in Zoom breakout rooms to share introductions and brainstorm challenges.
These intimate groups allow attendees to get to know each other, form alliances and friendships, and add even more value to NFWC admission. By the way, even introverts love this event!
Post-Conference Strategy Session
Scheduled during the week following the conference, this bonus session invites attendees to:

Want to Pitch the Literary Agents?

I personally cringe at the idea of spending more time on Zoom meetings than necessary, so I understand if you’re hesitant to commit to three days of online sessions.
